The Course

The Club’s 1924 championship design is still today one of the most enjoyable and challenging courses in the area with 57 newly renovated bunkers and water coming into play on 5 holes. Our highly rated and impeccably groomed 18-hole course is 6641 yards and has a championship slope of 128. Our fairways offer Hybrid Bermuda turf which provides an excellent playing surface that stays green later into the fall/winter and comes out of dormancy earlier in the spring/summer. Our greens were recently resurfaced with Pure Distinction Bent Grass offering one of the best putting surfaces in the US. Practice facilities include a large driving range with grass tees, two putting greens and a wide chipping area where any type of shot or putt may be practiced.

  • Men’s Golf

    • The Club hosts both Member/Member and Member/Guest tournaments each year, which include the much-sought-after Men’s Invitational and Men’s Club Championship. There are two organized men’s golf groups within the Club – The Men’s Club and the Turlock Seniors. Both groups offer organized league play throughout the year.

  • Couple’s Golf

    • If you’re looking to add some fun and variety to your game, one of the more active golfing groups at the Club is our Couple’s Group. Driven by their motto of “we play for fun,” their monthly tournaments are highly attended and offer different formats and dinners each month.

  • Women’s Golf

    • The Club offers several competitive golfing opportunities for women including the Women’s Invitational and the Women’s Club Championship. There are two organized women’s golf groups – the 9-Hole Tee-Birds who play on Tuesdays and the 18-Hole Women’s Golf Club who play on Thursdays.

Both men’s and women’s handicaps are administered by the Pro Shop staff and are subject to the rules and regulations of the Northern California Golf Association, USGA, and Women’s Golf Association of Northern California.

  • Junior Golf

    • TGCC’s Junior Club is for juniors that range between ages 7-17. (If your child is younger and would like to play, please ask our Head Pro about your options).  This is fun way to get our juniors involved in golfing and learn more about tournament golf. In addition to Junior Club, don’t forget about our very popular junior camp in the summer, where your junior can learn the basics of golf, including how to hold a golf club, chipping, putting, and much much more!
